 Hi sahabat Bersama Aafiyah! Today, we are going to learn about 16 tenses in English. What are they?



1. Simple Present Tense

Rumus: Subject + Based verb (es/s for third person)

Example: Kayana eats an apple

2. Present Continuous Tense

Rumus: Subject + is/am/are + Verb-ing (Continuous form)

Example: Kayana is eating the apples

3. Present Perfect Tense

Rumus: Subject + has/have + Verb 3 (Past participle)

Example: Kayana has eaten the apples

4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Rumus: Subject + has/have + been + Verb-ing (Past participle)

Example: Kayana has been eating the apples

5. Simple Past Tense

Rumus: Subject + Verb 2

Example: Kayana ate an apple

6. Past Continuous Tense

Rumus: Subject + was/were + Verb-ing

Example: Kayana was eating the apples

7. Past Perfect Tense
